April and Alice

April came to visit last weekend. She’s the first person to come see my place from Gainesville. It was so good to see her- I missed her.

I took her around town and we saw Saw 2 and Dreamer. I showed her campus, discovered a little room up a ladder, and made a scene in Highland Coffee. And we watched Law and Order- like old times.

She came at the perfect time. I finished three pieces that week and hadn’t really done anything except work, so seeing someone so familiar was a good relief. We took a lot of pictures. Some of them are here.

I’ve finished writing my chapter of Alice in Wonderland.
Here’s a cheap midi realization of the music. It’s 2:14 minutes. Slightly over the limit, but I’m sure they’ll forgive me, being the finale.
