Project Description

Origin is a 40-minute movement/dance work which I composed collaborating LSU Theatre and Nick Erickson. Through the Spring and Summer of 2014, Origin shown 10 times at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and LSU Shaver Theatre. After composing the music, I travelled with the troupe and acted as sound technician for the performances. I was able to raise $780 in funding to support travel and technical equipment.

Origin shows the life cycle of beings called Origini. Their evolution revolves around a large structure, a truncated icosahedron.

Video of the performance in Edinburgh, August 10, 2014.
